On May 6, 2008, The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a voluntary recall of Playworld Systems, Inc. playground swing sets. The recall notice states that the subject swing set clevis bearing may wear and detach from the structure creating a fall hazard for users. The Consumer Product Safety Commission recommends that all consumers of the subject swing set stop using the product immediately unless otherwise directed by the manufacturer. The manufacturer is offering a free repair kit.
