SUMMARY:Workers' Compensation Roundtable
DESCRIPTION:Reporting Workers’ Compensation claims timely have proven to reduce lost work days\, decrease overall claim costs\, decrease litigation and quicken recovery. This roundtable will discuss any issues the district encounters when reporting claims to Company Nurse and the Third Party Administrator. We will also discuss and assist districts in understanding their role in investigating the details of a claim. \n  \nTarget Audience:    Workers’ Compensation Personnel\, Risk Managers\, Supervisors or anyone who is responsible for reporting Workers’ Compensation claims \nFacilitators:            Company Nurse\, RJN Investigations\, Sylvia Pouncy- Glendale USD WC Coordinator \nHow to Register:  Email Kimberly Kennedy at kennedy@ascip.org by May 20th \n  \nLunch will be provided along with an opportunity to network with your peers and the experts.  As always\, there is no charge to ASCIP members or our invited guests to attend this training. \n  \nThere will be more Workers’ Compensation Roundtables to come.  Future topics will include: \n\n—  Early Return to Work\n—  How to Avoid Unnecessary Litigation\n—  Life Cycle of a Claim\n—  And much more!\n\n  \nCome share your challenges\, your suggestions\, and your request for future topics.  Hope to see you there!
