SUMMARY:Human Resources Roundtable - Title IX
DESCRIPTION:With the final regulations finally effective\, this Roundtable will discuss the new regulations and mandates under Title IX.  Come for a lively discussion on new requirements in providing appropriate supports in all aspects of education\, including the mandated to strengthen protections for LGBTQ students who face discrimination\, understand expanded definitions for discrimination based on sexual orientation\, gender identity and sexual characteristics\, protections based on pregnancy\, and new requirements for the Title IX Coordinator.  Also discussed will be the district’s expanded obligations to provide supportive measures to both complainant and respondent\, and new standards for permissive dismissals of complaints. \nRSVP at www.ascip.org/2024-1015
