DESCRIPTION:The NASDTEC Educator Identification Clearinghouse is the collection point of discipline actions for credentialed professionals nationwide. The Clearinghouse maintains a database of all disciplinary actions reported by districts which will be available to all participating ASCIP members.   \nASCIP and NASDTEC staff will provide an overview of the clearinghouse as well as detailed instructions on how to utilize the online platform. The nationwide Clearinghouse reports employment and addresses discrepancies and other concerning red flags that may require further review or clarification. NASDTEC increases the safety of students from childhood sexual assault since it expands the clearance process to identify certificated candidates who may have a history of unsafe behaviors.
