SUMMARY:NASDTEC Workshop: Learn About the Nationwide Database for Safe Clearance of Credentialed Employees

The Clearinghouse maintains a database of all disciplinary actions reported by districts which will be available to all participating ASCIP members.   \nASCIP and NASDTEC staff will provide an overview of the clearinghouse as well as detailed instructions on how to utilize the online platform. The nationwide Clearinghouse reports employment and addresses discrepancies and other concerning red flags that may require further review or clarification. NASDTEC increases the safety of students from childhood sexual assault since it expands the clearance process to identify certificated candidates who may have a history of unsafe behaviors. NASDTEC is a simple\, yet powerful tool to ensure safe on boarding practices. \nTarget Audience: Human Resources Personnel    \nPresenters: Heidi Cisneros\, CAARE Program\, ASCIP & Lee Ann Truman\, Support Services Coordinator\, NASDTEC   \nRSVP Link: https://www.ascip.org/2025-1104
