The landscape around electronic communication (including texting, email, and social media) continues to rapidly evolve. The technology driving AI and deepfakes is moving quickly, while strong legal protections and policies struggle to keep up. Within this framework, schools are continually facing challenges surrounding appropriate and ethical use of electronic communications and AI.
