Members at the 2019 Annual Membership Meeting found they have a whole lot more than great coverage from ASCIP.  Members met new service partners and ASCIP staff, discovered ASCIP’s rate stability despite a rapidly hardening insurance market, plus members discovered that ASCIP is a family sharing risks, knowledge, and resources.  And just like any family, we had a great time playing family-friendly board games as well.

ASCIP is proud to announce that with recent enrollments of Ontario Montclair SD, Manhattan Beach USD, Santa Monica Malibu USD, Anaheim Elementary SD, and Sierra CCD, its Owner Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP) program has enrolled its 90th construction project, and is on target to reach 100 by fall with due to the recent influx of school bonds passed.

Did you know that SB1343 requires ALL employees receive sexual harassment and abusive conduct prevention training in 2019?  Under the Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH) regulations, the definition of “employee” includes full-time, part-time, and temporary employees.
